We decided to have our son’s birthday party at SkyZone and we felt like their policies are very strange and do not make for a good birthday experience. Because our son has a winter birthday, we’ve relied heavily on indoor playplaces for his birthday parties as we have very limited options. We’ve been to tons of others and this was our first experience with SkyZone. We booked the two hour party package. The first hour of the party was fine, the kids played and had tons of fun, then we went into the party room for pizza and donuts. While the kids were eating though, an attendant came around and started cutting their bands off their wrists. I was so confused so I asked what was happening and she said the kids weren’t allowed to go back and play for the second hour. They had to stay in the party room for the whole second hour. WHAT?? I asked what we were supposed to do for an hour in there and she said that we’d eat (they’d just finished eating) and open presents (we don’t open presents in front of guests) and play in the little room. I told her we don’t have anything for them to do for an hour and she said we could play charades with them. I was flabbergasted. We had 14 6-year-olds who were definitely done eating and ready to go play again! What a bizarre policy. I told her that absolutely wasn’t going to work and the kids weren’t going to stay in the room doing nothing for an hour. I asked her if we needed to pay to have that extra half hour of jump time or something. My husband had to go talk to the manager and we worked it out but we did have to pay more, which is not good enough for us.
At all other indoor playgrounds we’ve been to, the party room or table is merely used as a meeting spot and the kids can run around the full two hours to play. It makes no sense to pay all that money for restricted play and sequestering in the party room for a full hour. And to be clear, their prices are comparable to all the other play places that don’t have those restrictions so what are we even paying for??? If we had known that this was the rule, we never would have booked the place and we would have gone somewhere else. They really need to revise this setup because I personally won’t be recommending them to other people for parties as long as that’s how they handle events.
I also didn’t like that they charged a $50 fee to bring in outside food so I had to upgrade to a bigger package and it included their food anyway. There are plenty of other places that don’t charge for outside food AND offer their own for convenience.
It’s great for a day of play but not for parties. You’re better off spending that money elsewhere.
Outside of that, the employees were nice and helpful, I know that it’s not their fault these are the policies and they have to...
Read moreWe recently celebrated our child’s birthday at Sky Zone in Saratoga Springs, Utah, and it was hands-down one of the best party experiences we’ve had. From the moment we arrived until the very end, everything ran so smoothly. The staff was organized, the space was clean and fun, and most importantly, the kids had an amazing time!
The party package truly came with everything we needed. They provided food, drinks, plates, cutlery, napkins—everything was ready for us, which made party planning super simple. We didn’t have to stress about bringing a bunch of extras or coordinating food pickups. The convenience factor alone was worth it!
The party included one full hour of jump time in the trampoline park, and the kids had an absolute blast. There was so much space to run, jump, and play, and the park wasn’t crowded at all. The kids got to enjoy all the attractions without waiting in long lines or being overwhelmed. They were free to explore and burn off energy in a safe, fun environment.
After jumping, we had a full hour in a private, reserved party room to celebrate. It was the perfect space for serving food, relaxing, opening gifts, and enjoying cake. Speaking of cake—Sky Zone allowed us to bring our own, and they even had a fridge to store it until we were ready to serve it. That small touch made a big difference and showed just how accommodating they were.
Olivia, our party host, was absolutely amazing. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything stayed on schedule. She helped with setup, checked in throughout the party, and was so great with the kids. Her positive energy and professionalism made the whole event feel effortless for us as parents. The manager on duty was also super helpful and kind. Check-in and check-out were incredibly smooth—no long lines, no confusion, just a quick and easy process that let us focus on having fun.
Another great feature was the on-site arcade. While the kids waited for food or wanted a little change of pace from jumping, they got to play a few games and keep the fun going. It was a great bonus that added even more entertainment to the day.
What really stood out was how stress-free the whole experience was. From the staff’s professionalism and friendliness to the convenience of having everything provided and well-organized, it made hosting a party feel so easy. And the kids had so much fun—they were smiling from start to finish.
If you’re looking for a birthday party venue in the Saratoga Springs area, I highly recommend Sky Zone. The experience exceeded our expectations in every way. We’ll definitely be back for more parties...
Read moreI find it kind of hilarious that people are complaining about the pricing here!! I just visited and can tell you that it is worth every penny. Especially the membership pricing! To be honest, I was a little skeptical to come because of the few negative reviews that I read before my visit today. Obviously, negatives stand out more than positives in today’s society, but DO NOT let these few comments deter you from at least coming to check this place out for yourself. I brought my 4 girls in and they had a blast! Don’t get me wrong, if it is just trampolines you are looking for, then this probably isn’t the place for you. My kids are burnt out on just trampolines though, as there is only so many times you can attend a place like that. This place has many other interactive games that my kids absolutely loved. Slides, zipline, trapeze/swing, air basketball/soccer courts, etc, etc. All in all, I guess everyone has their own opinion of what an indoor activity place should possess as far as attractions, but as far as the pricing, all I can say is, you probably spend more money taking your family out to eat than you do letting your kids wear themselves out at a place like this in under 2hrs. What is absurd to me is the amount of people that want to complain about pricing at an activity center like this when they seem to know absolutely nothing about what it might cost to build (let alone operate) a facility like this in todays economy with inflation and cost of materials, electricity, etc. at an all time high! Anyways, I, for one, am super thankful to have something like this in the community! It was much needed. Especially in winter months when the roads are icy and it takes 40+ mins to drive to the closest indoor activity place that doesn’t even compare. GREAT JOB SKY ZONE!! We will be back...
