We visited The Michigan Wine Company for the first time last Saturday and were thoroughly impressed. The wines were excellent, showcasing a clear commitment to quality, and we really enjoyed the lively vibe. While they were busy hosting their Wine Club for educational presentations in a separate room, it didn't detract from our experience. Our server, Sue, deserves special mention. She was incredibly knowledgeable about the wines, friendly, and made us feel very welcome. If we have any suggestions for improvement, they would be in two areas. First, the snack selection could be expanded. Currently, the only option is a small, pre-packaged item with salami, cheese, and crackers. Second, the winery's merchandise could be improved. My wife was interested in a t-shirt or hoodie, but the quality wasn't great, and the logo itself could use a redesign. Furthermore, we believe merchandise should be viewed as a marketing tool rather than a profit center. Pricing items to cover costs, with a small markup, would likely be more beneficial in the long run, given the valuable advertising that comes from customers wearing the...

Lovely winery, great use of space with seating and tables in between rows of grapes, fully dog friendly and the staff absolutely adore dogs, they immediately brought out a water bowl and constantly came by for belly rubs and to drop off treats, their knowledge of the menu was impressive and recommended great options for the wine flight. Big fan of the eye lags in the flight trays. The samples we tried were all superb and we ended up leaving with 3 bottles. Food truck on site is always a great add. My only regret is they didn’t have any mug memorabilia...but I get it, it’s a winery not a coffee house. Still a must on any visit to the area, Cash Approved! (He was a tired boy after...

My partner and I visited there over the summer for a wine tour. We got an amazing personal tour with Joe who showed us their lovely vineyard and the behind the scenes making of their wines. Overall excellent experience, the owners are friendly and welcoming. Their wines are fun too, they have depth and personality. They even have a fun hop wine. We became part of their wine club where we get two shipments a year. Just received ours today (after it was shipped yesterday!) and the wines are already wonderful. They included a sweet note and wine holder. I would recommend this place to everyone who is looking for a more personal experience than some of the other...

The name of this winery is as forgettable as the wine and overall experience. The interaction with staff was evidently awkward and uninviting. I was not the only one in my group of friends to notice the off-putting atmosphere, either. Another bothersome note is how the price for each tasting is comparable to other wineries in the area, but they offer one less glass here. I understand their being relatively new, but then the prices should also reflect that fact. If you’re looking for top-tier service and experience, I would instead recommend Hickory Creek or Gravity.

My sister got engaged, so we came here (with a party of 20) to celebrate. We all really enjoyed our time! The wines were great, and the atmosphere was even better. There is outdoor seating near the vines, with many picnic tables. Adirondack chairs circle a fire pit, and outdoor games are available to pass the time (cornhole, ladder golf & spikeball). My kids enjoyed the ice cream pops. The staff was attentive and helpful. They allowed us to bring in food from elsewhere, which we ate outside. All in all, very good experience. This place suited our needs perfectly.
