Public parking is limited to three spots that I have never seen empty. So the beach is primarily for scituate residence and sticker holders. The beach is quite steep and rocky with coarse sand. Interestingly there are two houses on stilts seemingly right on the beach... evidence of how fast erosion has occurred. If you're lucky enough to get access to Peggotty beach one of the coolest things to do is pick up a pizza and have a family picnic by bondfire in the evening.
