This bowling alley has see some of the best candle pin bowlers on the East coast. In its earlier days before Douglas Smith baught the business from Don Mus Dwyer and This alley has been kept in museum condition though out the years. Men's Thursday night bowling leagues Was the place to be. Back in the 70's & 80's this well know mens league produced 3 known candle Pin World Championship honors. Don (Mus) Dwyer. Former owner. Larry Jenkins. Robert (Snip) Jenkins. Winners of The Famous Bowling Show. Candle Pins For Cash. Junior Torrey. Howey Phillips. 6.Gary Lynch.

To climb the stairs up to this 2nd floor Bowling alley is a stairway to heaven. To take the time to bring the family and friends to Satuit Bowl-a-Way is a place that holds so much spirit and excitement left for you to enjoy and feel the competitive spirit left from the great bowlers that never missed a bowling night. To the great current owner and restorer of a place that has so much of Scituate, history and has refused to change with the light speed changes going on in this town, its an establishment that keeps the natural history alive !

I give all the honors and respect to Mike Smith and family for the preservation of this wonderful 👏 landmark.

This family entertainment location deserves everyones consideration of Satuit Bowl -a Way as your destination for a family night out once again. SATUIT BOWL-A- WAY is still here but the town has grown, new residents need to experience SATUIT - BOWL -A-WAY, Scituate's FIELD of DREAMS sports facility still open and still a fantastic safe place for your entire family and children to enjoy spirited sports competition between family/friends and leagues provide here.

PEOPLE COME BACK to old-time Candle Pin Bowling, a New England Tradition.
