Seeley's Waterfall — Attraction in Scotch Plains

I usually go here to go fishing. It's nice scenery overall! The place is overfished, but I understand that being in such a populated area. On average fishing here is fun! Just on the opening season days does it get a little crowded. I wish the garbage issues could be cleaned up a bit more. I know everyone should be responsible for what they bring with them, but at this rate maybe put out more garbage cans at this point? Especially some of the F&W garbage...

This is a typical picnic spot with tables, some open grass, a parking lot, and a pavilion. But there is lots of trash, people definitely don't keep it nice. When we went, someone had emptied an ash tray full of cigarette butts next to one of the tables, and there were little pieces of trash, plastic wrap, and bottle caps all over. I went there only once during the winter, so it was frozen. There were not weird smells as everyone claims to be, but I am guessing because it was frozen. Also there is a lot of trash around. The must fun part was doing the Sierra Trail, it’s a little more...
