Discovery Park Beach — Attraction in Seattle

Discovery Park beach is a beautiful and serene escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. The expansive shoreline offers breathtaking views of the Puget Sound, and the surrounding nature creates a tranquil ambiance. The beach itself is clean and well-maintained, making it a pleasant spot for a leisurely walk or a picnic. My only suggestion for improvement would be to have more facilities and amenities available for visitors, such as restrooms and food options. As someone who grew up in West Seattle I would have told you Alki Beach was Seattle's best beach. Until I discovered this beach. I love this beach every bit as much for completely different reasons. It's the anti-Alki or maybe what Alki was like two hundred years ago and that is an incredibly good thing. Just check it out at low tide. I went to the Discovery Park beach in mid September and it was super windy. Restrooms were hidden and half a mile from the beach. There were weeds on the shores and the beach was dirty. The light house didn't really look like a light house. The other side of the beach near N Beach trail was not windy but there was no way for my 3 year old and 10 year old kid to climb up the rocks to reach that beach. Hated it. Will not...
