Warning- Park at Your Own Risk Near the North Soccer Fields
It does not matter the time of day, the weather conditions, how prepared you are, or how many people are present, someone will attempt to break into cars in the north parking lot.
This is one of the soccer fields my league uses and I refuse to ever drive there again. Allegedly the cops know of the problems at this park however it is still not patrolled regularly. I refuse to chalk these experiences up to the notion that car break-ins are a regular thing in Seattle.
The playing fields are of great quality but to me risking my car getting broken into again, isn't worth it. There are plenty of fields and off-leash areas in the city, take my advice and go...

The section by the lake has flowering trees, open field as well as a more woodsy section, and birds and bunnies. Across the street, there are sports fields, a small playground and a dog park (with a separate small dog section). One of the play fields is currently being redone. There's a public restroom and some tables on the park side, and it's a good spot for a group picnic as it's mostly level ground with some paved and some gravel paths. It’s a park that you might end up at if you are on a co-Ed soccer team or play frisbee golf, or happen to live in the neighborhood, but it’s nothing special. There is a small dog park there though, but small it is. And there are often some pretty big dogs mixed with the little pups. I’ve seen dog fights break out on more than one location.
