UPDATE: 7/18/2022 The parks service under the direction of our current rep are pushing to destroy this path, under the guise of building a 12 foot road to move construction materials through. They say it is to shore up the area for salmon, but they would remove all of this old growth. The community believes this is a push to go against the new green deal and to make a stroller path and reduce the sedimentation that some of the million dollar homes receive, because removing all of this would not help the salmon. They require shade to survive and the environment has changed. Replanting this area later will NOT allow for the same growth. If you love this area, please reach out to the local council woman. This is not the first underhanded thing they have done to serve only the wealthy. Beautiful little spot. Parking for only 2-3 cars. Not handicap accessible beyond the first 15’. No bathrooms, but short and easy hike with mild incline/ decline if you hike...

This trail makes you feel like you're really in the woods. The vibe is archaic, filled with the calming shallow waterfall-like sounding creek running alongside constant reminders of all that was and still is here. Obviously maintainers/volunteers regularly work in the area with all the tiny low flags everywhere, random signage and massive tree trunks and stems cut up veggie style and left about. For a relatively short distance, Taylor Creek & Trail can surprisingly enthrall those seeking just a bit of adventure and would easily capture kids or pet interests. Just be mindful that the entire trail, just like the city it's in, isn't...

This is a very nice trail deep in the woods with a great sense of peace and nature. I visited during an early morning and really enjoyed it.There are a few not-so-steep stairs and a couple of wooden bridges so it's a pretty moderate short hike.

My only complaint is that there are a few intersections but the trails are not well marked so you may get into a dead end. The park isn't that big anyway so it just means you need to turn back and choose another path. If you want to do the little loop as you see on Google Maps, the intersection with lots of short tree trunks is where you...

Tried out the trail for the first time today and loved it. It's a narrow trail with lots of stairs and some bridges. The trees are gorgeous and the sound of water is very soothing. There were very few people on the trail, but it was also raining, which might be why. There are only a few spots for parking, which might keep the trail from being too populated. Looking forward to returning!
