Wear shoes with good tread for Oct - May skippery muddy trail through fairly wild mossy Dead Horse Canyon trail up & down unpaved trail. Good spot for watching nature - native plants, birds, squirrels, & insects. You might even see raccoon or coyote footprints in the mud. A few footbridges cross the river. If you go up & down EVERY side trail in the park it might be 2 miles. Look closely at the map to notice entrance with parking for about 4 cars or other entrance paths connecting park from residential streets. Extra credit, bring a plastic bag and pack put your trash to keep area clean for all wildlife & people. Not very accessible for handicapped people. The owner of a house there came out and asked me if I was looking for the park. I said "yes" and he told me that he repeatedly has to tell people directed there by Google maps that there is a steep cliff but no path, so it's dangerous to enter the park that way. He told me how to drive to a better entrance, where there are paths, but I got lost. So, never really got...
