Sebastian Inlet — Attraction in Sebastian

This is a great place to fish. The south jetties is where I normally fish. So be sure to know that you may get hooked into some rocks as you get closer. There is a variety of fish that comes through and it might be your lucky day. You never know what you might on the end of the hook. When it packed, some of the people there can be hostile towards each other. Overall I met some good people there and learned things from some. There is no boat shop on sight, so you better hit up one the local spots before arriving. You can also head to the small pier in the back and try to cast net for some bait or fish. They also have a camp site for those looking to camp or park their RVs. There is an access to launch your boat, jet ski or kayaks in the back. You do have to pay a small fee to enter the park. Fishermen were catching Sheepshead fish with crabs off the bridge along the rocks. There is a small cove for swimming lined with picnic tables- many famlies with small children were swimming. (It was a nice 85 degree day in January- beautiful Florida!) This is a good place to view wildllife. The dolphins and pelicans were feeding and chasing fish in the inlet. Along the small cove during low tide, children were collecting creatures from under the rocks and the birds were hunting for food.
