Big Johnson Reservoir — Attraction in Security-Widefield

The parking lot is dirt that is like your worst imaginable off road experience, and full of broken bottles and other trash, no access to the water (private property surrounded by barbed wire fence), homeless people camping out of their cars in the parking lot, tons of swarming midges that will cover you and your car, strong odor (natural gas) from the utilities station across the street from the parking lot. I’m sure this is a popular hangout for homeless and drug addicts, but I think most people would find it disgusting.
