Huckaby Trailhead — Attraction in Sedona

We did this incredible hike with two very small kids under 6 years old! They managed to hike the whole 10k out and back! The magic is down by the river and it is absolutely breathtaking. Be prepared for a long hike down.... and I don’t recommend doing this with very small children like we did lol but they are pretty experienced little hikers. Most people we came across were shocked the kids made it down 😀 we spent over an hour down by the river and it was so worth it. Overused, overcrowded, no peace. In the height of tourist season I attended a wedding here. Everything is as beautiful as expected, however the the sheer volume of people coming and going destroyed the absolute serenity. Jeeps, planes, cars, trucks, and helicopters all with people practically yelling to hear each other was overwhelming. I felt rushed an like I was in everyone's way because I was standing still. It was like being in the mall during a black Friday sale. If I return I will go far from the "trendy lifestyle" town and more...

The scenery is gorgeous.The grounds are clean and well maintained.The machine to pay for the parking permit is very cantankerous.It took about 8 tries for it to finally accept our credit card .Others who followed had the same difficulty..As we left we noted not all cars had permits from the machine.I think some folks gave up messing with it.You Will get more income from a user...
