Oak Creek at Arroyo Roble Resort in Sedona, Arizona #CapCut #sedona #sedonaarizona #oakcreekcanyon #arizona

I have been visiting Arroyo Robles with my family for over 30 years. Its location is prime, right in the heart of Uptown, and also right on the banks of Oak Creek. The villas are all very cared for and comfortable, and the grounds are well kept. You will enjoy your stay, and so will your family and guests! Edit: Over the past few years, I have been sad to see the service and care for the facility have fallen behind. Multiple times, we have been treated as if we were a problem for crimes such as checking-in, or asking questions about schedule mishaps that weren't on our end. Our recent stay our room smeeled of urine, the wax seal was out and leaking under the master toilet, the 2nd rooms batheoom had flushing issues all week, we had a fairly large spider crawl across the living room, a lizard climbijg around the wall in the master, some left behind hosiery in the dresser and some insanely loud college age kids partying until 3 am and the front desk refused to intervene, offering us the solution of calling the police instead. Not a welcome solution when you have young children and it's already late. I do hope the management can turn it around. It seems a shame to see such a beautiful property run itself into disrepair. Though, if the guest list co tines to include Motley Crue wannabes and other folks who don't pay the dues, there is little hope as an owner in the rental world.

I have had plenty of good experiences with this resort, so please believe me when I say it truly pains me to write this review. I plan on editing the review if they are able to right their wrong. I came with my parents to stay at my Aunts timeshare. We have been given days for this resort plenty of times in the past, and I've had good experiences here. Problems in the past were corrected and customer service was excellent. UNTIL this time. The ENTIRE reason I came with my parents (knowing I would need to sleep on the EXTREMELY uncomfortable foldout bed) IS TO TAKE BATHS!!! In most of the villas there is a large bath that has jets. Well, ever since we got here on the 20th I HAVEN'T BEEN ABLE TO TAKE A SINGLE HOT BATH! Dissappointed and dissatisfied is a complete understatement. On the night of the 20th when I went to take a bath, the hot water wasn't steaming, barely warm at best. And then when the bathtub was maybe a 1/4th of the way full, NO HOT WATER, ONLY COLD. On the 21st I went to the front office and talked to staff, they said they would send maintenance over to check on things. The maintenance man who came basically gave me a bunch of excuses, and checked the kitchen sink and hot water heater, and left!!! He said "steaming water is coming out of the sink in the kitchen" and blamed other people staying in our villa, for using the hot water (I know for a fact no one used any hot water on the 20th). Then he proceeded to tell me the bathtub is 55 gallons, and the hot water heater is 60 gallons. So if anyone at all uses any hot water, no bath for me. Okay. Got it. So I tried another bath on the night of the 21st, yippie. I specifically told everyone not to use hot water past 9pm. MORE DISAPPOINTMENT! Literally the same thing happened, a little hot water at first, but not enough to even remotely fill the tub. Okay, at this point I am very angry. So I tell my Father to deal with it. Today (the 22nd) he talks to front desk staff, who tell him to call instead (okay but whatever). So he comes back to the room, and calls and they once again send a maintenance person. Oh gee, it's the same man. He said he would change the water temperature to 130 degrees, and told us to be careful not to scald ourselves on the downstairs water. Fast forward to my bath on the night of the 22nd. Same thing, different day. Even less hot water then last time. In fact, as I type this, I run ICE COLD water down the bathtub drain hoping for some sort of miracle for this godforesaken villa. Because the maintenance man said to "let it run and get warm". It was only warm for a few moments at the beginning, now it is ice cold.

TL:DR I stayed here to take hot baths, and haven't been able to take a single hot bath since getting here.

EDIT: (from one star to 3 stars) Today is Sunday the 23rd. My Father told me that he spoke to the front desk this morning, and they were very apologetic. He said they offered to have us switch rooms. Switching rooms is admittedly a pain after being fully settled in, BUT they sent two maintenance men to help us move. The maintenance men also came with a golf cart which was very much needed with the amount of stuff we have. They were very helpful and accommodating and helped us move, and bring things inside and upstairs. I will be testing the bathtub and hot water tonight, and posting a final update.

EDIT: (3 to 4 stars) I was able to take a hot bath on the 3rd day of staying here, due to switching rooms. They effectively righted their wrong, and I can confidently say this is a wonderful resort to stay at, as long as no problems arise during your stay. If problems do arise, they do their best...

What a wonderful experience!Tucked neatly away alongside the winding and sometimes rushing Oak Creek, this resort is top notch, from it's carefully manicured landscaping to the subtle decorations reminiscent to the vibe of Sedona inside the residences. Once down the steep hill to the resort, the hustle and bustle of the streets above become a faint echo that lulls you into the serenity for which this resort may be known...at least for me. Many amenities you will see as you park at the registration office - down the way you'll see tennis courts, a basketball court and once inside, you'll see indoor and outdoor swimming pools, indoor and outdoor hot tubs, grills scattered around the premises for vacationer use, several sitting areas and a little path along the crystal clear and sometimes calm waters of the Oak Creek. Within the main hub near the registration office are billiards tables, table tennis, a sitting room with a baby grand piano and a TV, down from there a small gym which overlooks the outside pool and the indoor racquetball courts. There's a game room for the little and big kids as well as a sauna for you to relax after a long day of walking/hiking. Within all of the condos are TVs in every room, plenty of chairs, balconies on every floor with sitting chairs and tables. A full kitchen with dishwasher, stove top, full-sized fridge and freezer with a large sink and microwave. Bedrooms are equipped with wall-mounted TVs and a large closet and dressers. The curtains for each room have blackout curtains so you can sleep in late after a long day exploring the city and its outskirts. What a wonderful experience, this was!...

We stayed at this resort over the Veterans Day weekend and there were some things that needed improvement. One of the front desk clerks, Caroleena, was a not very gracious to me especially on one particular occasion. My new room key did not work in one of the pool entrances and I asked Caroleena and she said "That is just for us, just staff and guests." I looked at her and reiterated that I was a guest and she said, "Are you a guest of the hotel?' and I said "yes..." And then she said "Well, you need to sign in...." Perplexed, I signed in as she mandated and then when I wrote down my room number, she said "That is one of our room numbers" and again I said "Yes, that is what I said...I am a guest" and she said "I thought you meant you were a guest of Best Western next door" At this point I was trying very hard to communicate with her as she was acting very bizarre and not very articulate. I finally gave up trying to tell her about the pool access and went around the entire building and accessed the pool from the main entrance each time I went. Other than that, the room was great. We liked the room (villa) and enjoyed the amenities, however, the outdoor pool was NOT heated so everyone was trying to cram into the smaller indoor pool area and small children were taking over the indoor whirlpool area even though they should have not been in the whirl pool and when the front desk was alerted to this, it fell...
