Nice stop if you're around 7 Winds casino or just traveling through. The grounds are apparently in the final process of development of several buildings. There's an overlook of the water, walking path, and a kids playground behind the building next door. Out front, there are engravings and totems in honor of veterans. The totems and other Native artwork around the building are also worth a look.

Cannot give enough stars for the eclectic beauty of this gallery. Had always wanted to stop at this spot and finally did so. Tribes are well-represented. Beautiful artisan pieces, fair prices and helpful staff. Picture is outside on adjoining grounds. Was able to select multiple gifts as well as personal reading glasses and greeting cards. Absolutely loved the gallery!

Stopped on the way to have breakfast with a friend. I only had about 15 minutes so didn't go into any of the buildings, but explored the pretty grounds. I have passed it other times and wanted to stop and glad I did this time. There are some tables on the back with water views and would be a great lunch stop. Playground also for kids.

Other than needing to close 20 minutes early to attend a graduation ONE time, I have found this gallery/native expressions store to be a delightful surprise in the world of galleries and "Native American" arts and open for business during normal business hours. Most products are made by local artists or have a focus on the culture of the area. I discovered this place while we were considering a move to the area. The ladies who worked there gave me both information about the local Jamestown tribe and the area in general. With their help I discovered several more reasons to move here. I've purchased a number of items for myself and always take visitors to the gallery/store because the visitors will always find something perfect for their experience exploring the native culture of Jamestown and Sequim. No other "native" store features the Jamestown S'klallam history and style in a non-casino location, which is great for those of us who prefer non-smoking facilities. Many reasonably priced items, good selection of books, jewelry, carvings and...

The artwork and gifts in this S'klallum building range from interesting to astounding. Most, if not all, are created by indigenous artists, and many of those are local. And the young woman staffing the shop was delightful and helpful.

If you're looking for water, food, or other drinks, they don't have it there -- probably a good idea around artwork. Not a problem, though, since there's a gas & convenience...
