Great place for biking across the minnesota river from shakopee to bloomington. Also this is a great place to view beaver dams and see the lakes next to the river. The wildlife here is amazing all times of the year. There is only one paved path but there is another unpaved path on both sides of the river.

The trail is close to the river so it closes due to flooding. The pavement is really washed out because of the flooding and can be dangerous to bikers. They post signs of the path is closed though.

There are bridges currently under construction that blocks the path. There is however a make shift 2x4 with stones on either side at the bottom of a generaly steep dip. I'm in a wheelchair and managed to get thru but this is not something for people in wheelchairs to attempt. ( I'm a lttle different) untill the...
