My family and I spend all our spring, summer and fall here we even started coming to their pool after goin to the West Middlesex for 15 plus years. We love this park, but It seems that they're taking away from the family vibe. I recently seen on fb people talking about how they're will be nothing but wetlands in the park? The kit field will be turned into wet lands also, witch is sad bc that is the BEST field around our area for kits. Every year we fly kits and never have we showed up and there wasn't other flying there's too. It's sad but while we get ready to purchase out 275$ passes we're debating on west Middlesex pool 6 passes for 200. You pay they crazy pool prices to show up and realize they don't have enough seats either. They have nothing for pregnant women. I feel like there should be a couple chairs somewhere reserved for pregnant women. I was pregnant watching other pregnant women look for places to site and found none, also no shade for them either. It seem like the same older pool pass members show up early and take up half the seats and shade. Almost like this pool is for hermitage people before anyone, witch is crazy bc hermitage are the ones that also get the discount on passes too. Not even an option for a discount for repeated pool pass customers. Also the staff never stopped the male clients from using the women's restrooms last year. Or care about grown men in the men's room walking around completely naked, my young kids were very upset last year for the naked creepy man. They will not use the pool bathrooms now unless they're dad is with them witch cuts our swim days down 75%. Witch i wont let them use them alone either, i actually know some of the clients from last summer and theyre staff doesnt watch them while these clients are not alot with out staff in arm reach for a reason. Its not safe for these kids to be alone with them in the bathrooms. Definitely need to update some things before worrying bout adding more wetlands and adding to the...
Read moreI love this park and visit fairly often . It is beautiful and an amazing park . Therefore, my family decided to book the pool and casino for my sisters 16th birthday party . My parents called a few weeks in advance to book June 24 and put doen a $25 deposit. The lady who booked us mentioned that the pool did close around 6:30pm and as long as we were cleaned up and out by then we would be fine . The booking would have consisted of a portion of the casino deck overlooking the pool and access to the pool (with the rest of the public ) . She said we could arrive as soon as 12pm and set up if we would like . My parents told her that we would probably be there around 2 to set up. June 24 (today) we arrive at the park at 2pm (ice cream cake in hand ) (cars packed with decorations ) with all of our guests , we walk to the front counter of the pool and are greeted with "are you the mother of the girl who works here who is having her party today."We reply "no" and the lady at the front counter proceeds to tell us that there were 2 party's scheduled for today so they moved our time from 12pm-3pm. and the girl who worked there (WHO WAS ALREADY UNPACKING HER STUFF AT 2PM) was scheduled from 3pm-6pm .not one call was made to us that our time was changed. although she did not fail to mention "you can still pay for each of your guests to swim :)" long story short .. whoever is in charge of scheduling party's at buhl parks pool screwed my family over so one of their workers could have their party on our already scheduled day . Have to say, I'm extremely disappointed with the staff of Buhl Park and the unprofessional manner the situation was...
Read moreI have never had one problem with the park. Until today. I have never gone swimming there but since today was so hot, my husband and i were going to take our 1 year old swimming. When we got there, my husband dropped me off to ask if they will accept debit cards, a lady with a short short hair said "well, uh, yes". So then i walked to meet my family at the parking lot .We got our 1 year old out of her carseat, got the diaper bag, the towels, sunscreen, water, etc. and walked BACK to the pool carrying all of this. Got in there and she then asks us if we are here for the pool and we said yes and then she said, "well, we close in like 20 minutes so idk if it would be worth it for you". So i looked at my husband and said its not worth it and told the lady the times online says til 8 and she then says "well, no. Thats during the weekdays only". She shouldve told me this when i asked if they would take debit cards for the pool. AND to top it off, online says the park pool is open from 8-8 everyday .So needless to say, my husband and i were very upset and our daughter never got to experience her first...
