This is a nice course that is well worth a trip up from Pittsburgh. It has just about everything you can need in amenities. There are restrooms on site. There are picnic areas. There are 3 sets of tees, with good baskets and at least one sign on every hole that I saw. The course is in a really nice park. There are all sorts of things to see. For the natural there are old trees galore, with several ponds and lagoons. There are ornamental gardens and statues and some other sites along the way.
The course is a big one. At over 7k on whites, it's one of the longer courses around. You definitely need to be able to keep hucking drives straight down some fairways to make your pars here.
Where I think it lacks just a bit from the great courses is variety. It all starts to feel like 18 of the same fairway. It's just crush it, crush it again, try to make your putt and go do the same on the next hole. You do what you can with what you have, so they did great in this park, it just doesn't have many holes that will stick...
