Read moreThis was a very cute place to visit! I would say it's more for younger kids though. I took my 9 year old for something to do and although it was cute, it would probably be a bit boring for some kids above 6/7. We had been just passing through the area and when I googled nearby things to do, bookworm gardens popped up. They have young children's book you can read in the different areas of the park, hence why I would say it's more for younger kids. I'd also definitely recommend trying to find out when they are not busy because when we went, they were quite busy. Other people visiting were quite rude and just seemed to disregard anyone else being around, trying to take pictures, etc. They would just walk and stand in front of you, let their kids take things right out of your child's had that was trying to interact with the garden items for interacting with. They also only had one bathroom available when we went and a lady insisted on using the bathroom along and locking the door for a long extended period, so no one else could go in to...
Read moreWhat a lovely place that brings to life children books! To learn that over 1,000 volunteers helped bring the vision to life was jaw-dropping. Wow! Talk about a community project.
Walking towards the entrance you see the Magic School Bus Garden and Picnic area. The archway welcomes guests into a space with picnic tables and of course The Magic School Bus. Please remember to take your trash with you if you eat here during your visit.
And what’s a place based off literature without a Little Free Library. It’s located right across from the picnic grove.
Small signs throughout the gardens inform visitors of the book which inspired the respective space. Stone towers hold books for families to sit and read.
There were a number of groups visiting on the day we went, but we made the most of our trip.
My baby shower theme was based on children’s books because of my love for reading so bring my twins here made it a...
