Thom Reed - UFO Park — Attraction in Sheffield

Quiet restful little park that I myself found by accident after turning onto Kellogg rd and traveling down a dirt road surrounded by corn fields and hay rolls back in 1988. Back then we carved are names inside the bridge like thousands had before us and would return again and again when we were in the area. It had been many years since I was back and went to share it with a friend on Memorial Day 2022 and found the old bridge restored and my "secret" entrance turned into UFO Park! I love it. I saw a sign for the covered bridge and drove down the dirt road to check it out. The bridge is a beautiful reconstruction and it was the first covered bridge in Massachusetts. There is signage explaining this. You can cross the bridge which is now closed to vehicles. You come to a sign which explains the UFO encounter that happened there in 1969. A Beautiful and Fascinating Place to Visit! After reading about the UFO incident in the Boston Globe, we visited the UFO site and read more about the incident. The actual location is on the EAST side of the river, just across the covered bridge.
