Quiet restful little park that I myself found by accident after turning onto Kellogg rd and traveling down a dirt road surrounded by corn fields and hay rolls back in 1988. Back then we carved are names inside the bridge like thousands had before us and would return again and again when we were in the area.    Read moreI saw a sign for the covered bridge and drove down the dirt road to check it out. The bridge is a beautiful reconstruction and it was the first covered bridge in Massachusetts. There is signage explaining this. You can cross the bridge which is now closed to vehicles. You come to a sign which explains the UFO encounter that happened there in 1969.
