Weâve been here twice now and have enjoyed both experiences. There is a really nice area outside with tents and chairs for seating, and we definitely appreciate that! There are a lot of flavors to choose from, and as a vegan I really really appreciate that there is a non-dairy option. The first time I went I tried the dairy free chocolate coconut which was so so good. My husband ordered a cherry vanilla but was handed a cookies and cream instead, no big deal and we didnât want it to get wasted so he didnât say anything. It was good- he said a standard cookies and cream flavor. We also ordered a frozen dog biscuit treat and our pup sat outside with us and demolished it - definitely a big hit. This time I went and ordered 3 large cups of ice cream to bring home plus another dog treat. It was 29$, the prices are not cheap but Iâm happy to pay more to support local when we can. Unfortunately because of the pricing we probably wonât be back as often as weâd like, but will make a point to stop when the opportunity arises! So grateful to have a local dairy free ice cream option and a dog...
Read moreModern Milk Bar is a fabulous and welcome addition to the region. Super premium ice cream with no additives, no artificial flavoring or colors?! Sign me all the way up! As a conscious consumer, I know that food and production costs have risen absolutely everywhere and whatâs important to me is QUALITY. This ice cream is just that - quality and on top of it, totally delicious. My personal favorite is the Cherry Pistachio with close seconds being Cheeky Mo-No (like a chunky monkey but better) and any of the vegan flavors ( coconut base for the win). If you are familiar with this building, you will know just how much attention and craftsmanship has been put into to making it sparkle now. Modern Milk Bar is a beacon of light on Route 7 - a place to treat yourself and relax. Ice cream is a TREAT folks - you make the call on how much you buy and how often. Personally, if I donât have a big budget I go for a soft serve - under 5$ and leave with a smile.

Read moreWe like the ice cream, but somehow we just walked out of there spending $27 and change for a milkshake and one small scoops on a cake cone and one scoop on a waffle cone. When I asked why it was so expensive, he said it was the waffle cone which brought that scoop to $10.50, but even with that insane price the math doesnât add up. I was too confused at the moment to go over this with him as there were other customers waiting to be served. But somethings not right here about that math, and that makes me not want to go back with my kids. Also we lost some ice cream out of one cone almost immediately because he didnât pack it right. Sprinkles and ice cream everywhere with her first attempt...
