I've thought for quite a while before posting this review. I'll start by saying that this is my home casino and I'm usually here once or twice per week, and I'm sharing my honest feedback. My original review has been changed from 4 to 2 stars.

I've been coming here regularly since the temporary pavilion was opened back in 2008 and I've seen all of the changes along the way. First of all, this is a casino. You win some, lose some, stick to a budget and have fun - that's what it's about. My review in no way reflects wins, losses, etc...

I'm primarily a slot player, though I do enjoy other games occasionally. As a slot player, I've seen this casino go from 1700 machines in the temporary pavilion to over 2400 at one point, and it's now at the lowest ever at 1600. They continue to remove machines and not replace them. Most of my favorite machines are gone now. No reasonable classic Wheel of Fortune machines (just the $100 one), zero Diamond Lines, Quick Hits are scarce, In The Money is gone. The High Limit slot room is a joke now. No cage, no slot attendants, and no servers. Who wants to wait 20-30 minutes for a handpay when you put more than the payout into the machine to start?

Main cage is severely understaffed for a casino with table games. The line get ridiculously long during peak hours with usually only two people working. Many of the ATM/cashout machines go down during peak (and even off peak) hours so your only option is going to the cage sometimes.

On to the food. The buffet closed a while ago and has just been blocked off since. The pub/otb restaurant that's been rebranded many times is only open on certain days now. The food is good, but no different than before really. The steakhouse finally just opened back up but I haven't been yet.

The bar is far more expensive than it should be in a casino, which it always has been, but keeps getting worse. I don't even drink often, but occasionally enjoy an adult beverage when I'm here. Also, none of the bars in the whole building even stock a Single Malt Scotch... not one.

Casino hosts are non-existent. I used to get approached quite a bit, but now they're not even out roaming the floor. I still get my offers and such, but the personal touch is completely gone. It's rare to see a server, but if you do, they're more likely to walk right past without saying a word.

In summary, it seems as though this casino has completely forgotten about its slot players in favor of the table players, and there's not even that many tables. Anderson is currently going through a renovation and even though it's a little further away, maybe it will end up being my home casino. All of the announcements for the construction made it sound like there were going to be significant upgrades, but in reality, the opposite has been true.

Update 8/19/2023: Completely uneventful for a Saturday night. No music, no DJ, the brewhouse closed 30 minutes before their sign said. What is going on here and who is managing this place?

Update 8/24/2023: Since when does Caesars Rewards close? Customer service just keeps going...

The Great: Casino is laid out well. Massive, bright and was spotlessly clean was I was there. Large selection of the newest games, mixed with ample classic games as well. ATM’s are conveniently located of course! Restrooms were clean and convenient and ALL of the staff I interacted with were very pleasant and accommodating.

The Not So Great: ATM’s have a 9.99 surcharge. Really? They are still using the old “we don’t have change because of some dreamed up shortage from the COVID days”; so they print your coin ticket on a voucher, with the hopes you’ll dump it in a charity box…Ridiculous and unnecessary. You can go to the cage and get your change there if you want but it seems like theft by deception to me when there is NO reason not to have those stocked with change. The only other casino I have been to since 2023 that does that still is Delaware north venues in WV. Adding insult to injury the ATM in the high limit area didn’t have enough cash in it for the withdrawal I was making. Let’s just say this wasn’t a million dollar transaction lol. I had to hunt another unit down to replenish my bankroll. Not a deal breaker but come on… in the high limit room? lol.

Rewards is Caesar’s Entertainment, and anyone that is familiar with that product knows most people jumped ship to MLife in Vegas, for good reason…Worst major comp program in my experience anywhere in North America. I have never played here before 2/2025 so I can’t speak directly to this venue but CE overall has never gotten me excited….

If you are looking for the “Midwest’s loosest slots” you should probably keep looking. I had great luck hitting bonuses on denoms from .02-2.00 and bets from 8.00-24.00 dollars. That’s awesome BUT…Didn’t have a lot of luck on the payout side though. There was only one bonus on a 10.00 bet that paid over a 21 times multiplier, and the bonuses on the 18.00 and 24.00 bets didn’t pay over 15 times on any bonus. I have played in tighter venues for sure, but this is at the lower end of the return to player venues I have tried out. I know slots are a negative anticipation event but when you smack a bonus on a bigger bet you want that machine to show its appreciation yah?

I was there too early to try the restaurants but I’ve never been let down at Binions so hopefully this one is awesome too.

If you’re looking for a place to stop in and have some fun this may do it for you. If you’re looking to milk a bankroll for hours this probably isn’t the best place to make that happen. I would and will return the next time I am in Indy. Good luck while...

May have caught it on a particularly slow day, but on my visit, I would not give it more than three stars.

First, the highlights: Spacious, many new and fan-favorite slots, high-end decor, and several eateries with menus to satisfy most all tastes.

The venue is part of the Ceasar's Rewards realm, and makes it well known throughout the advertising you'll see around most every turn.

However, visiting on a Tuesday night was rather lack-luster, with only one restaurant open and about 10% - 20% of the slot games shut down, or otherwise off-line.

Not a fan of indoor smoking, so that's a one-star deduction from me. There was even a guy with a cigarette in the "no smoking" area - so obviously no enforcement, which is a problem if you don't care for the smell of cigarette smoke or have the lung capacity to tolerate it.

Signing in as a new member, and only being "rewarded" with $5.00 of free play didn't really entice me to put up a good review. Sure, I'm grateful they offered anything at all, but I've been to much smaller venues offering at least $10.00 or more. Seemed chincy.

I was also surprised to find you (or at least myself) are unable to cash out tickets for under a dollar in value with the auto-teller machines. I wanted to combine tickets to push the total amount to the next dollar level, but the auto-teller refused to cooperate, and indicated a visit to the cashier was required. Of course, there was a line and only two cashiers working, so that was extra time just standing around in the cigarette smoke.

The slots I did play were particularly stingy, and I dropped $50.00 with little to no return - but that happens anywhere (and seemingly moreso recently). Looking at other players while walking around, I did not witness much success for them either.

Like I said, may have been just an off-night, and possibly better on a weekend, or when a horserace event is happening. All I'll say is this evening was a rather uninspiring experience making me question if I'd care to return. Hopefully you'll have a better time. That's why it's...
