Very nice park! It's sort of tucked away, but is very cute, and looks new. The playground is a large jungle gym, 1 large swing set that has 2 baby bucket/parent tandem seats, 1 or 2 (I can't remember exactly) baby bucket seats, and 2 regular swing seats in it.
Both the swing set & jungle gym are set in a small, fenced in section filled with dirt/mulch covered with wood chips. If it's been raining it will definitely be soft! I had on heeled boots and was sinking in.This fenced in area has a paved mini sidewalk all around the perimeter inside the fence, around the playground.
Outside of this there are tennis quarts, a paved walking trail, skate park, picnic tables, the rec center, and an enclosed pool.
*update: They've filled in all the mud/mulch and covered it with astroturf now! SO...
Read moreIt's a neat little place to go. I do wish there was more of a walking path though and a little bit more room on the waking path. It'd be cool if it was a little bigger in general. Maybe a few more things for fun added to the playground! On a nice day, there aren't enough swings! How about a seesaw? Or a merry go round? The swimming pool is neat! Too bad it shuts down so early though! All in all, it's a chill little spot to go, whether you wanna walk your fur baby, or your little human baby. Or if you wanna meet up with a friend and just have a nice relaxing swim or a little picnic. It's not too bad there if you want something to do in this boring little town.
