I still prefer Shoreview Park over Boeing Creek Park, but I've been going to Boeing Creek Park more lately because the trails are easier and sunnier (less shadier) than Shoreview's. There's still plenty of forest/tree cover, but at least most of the trails are flatter and don't have as much elevation as Shoreview's does. They've run out of dog poop bags many times I've been here, and a lot of the park is covered in dog poop, so you have to be very careful where you step if off the trail. I know this because my dog always takes me to other dogs' poop, and one time I was so exhausted by how many times I had to pull him away from them throughout our walk. Certain parts of the park kind of reek, smell off. One of them is by the 3rd Ave barrier entrance where the ground is part moss, grass, and cement. The rules are for all of us who go to the park. If you want to take your dogs off leash, the park has an area where you can keep your dogs off leash.
