It's a beautiful park, the only bad thing is that many people take their dogs off leash when there are many signs informing that they must keep their dogs on a leash and they still have the cynicism to ask if my dog is friendly. The rules are for all of us who go to the park. If you want to take your dogs off leash, the park has an area where you can keep your dogs off leash. Anyway my dog is friendly, and the restored area is wonderful.

Beautiful park and perfectly shaded for hot summer months. Similar to other reviews, we keep running into offleash dogs but haven’t had any serious incidents yet. People need to try longlines if they want to give their dogs more freedom, while still maintaining control of their dog - though why use a longline or let them offleash when it’s so busy with small children oftentimes? Still, it’s a gorgeous park.

The area was simply amazing. Such a cool place that offers an oasis to the city. The huge cedar and spruce trees were so cool. The creek was so neat and had lots of mini waterfalls and the path was exciting. Not for the faint of heart but if you wear sandals and don't mind walking in the creek it would be pretty easy. The creek walk was short and perfect amount for young kids.

I still prefer Shoreview Park over Boeing Creek Park, but I've been going to Boeing Creek Park more lately because the trails are easier and sunnier (less shadier) than Shoreview's. There's still plenty of forest/tree cover, but at least most of the trails are flatter and don't have as much elevation as Shoreview's does. They've run out of dog poop bags many times I've been here, and a lot of the park is covered in dog poop, so you have to be very careful where you step if off the trail. I know this because my dog always takes me to other dogs' poop, and one time I was so exhausted by how many times I had to pull him away from them throughout our walk. Certain parts of the park kind of reek, smell off. One of them is by the 3rd Ave barrier entrance where the ground is part moss, grass, and cement. There's also a water fountain of some kind near the NE corner, but I could never get it to work. I think they disconnected it, but left signs saying there's water for dogs,...

Beware of aggressive dogs. My husband was bitten by 2 dogs not on leash but in area where dogs required to be on leash. Dog owner unable to control. My husband unfortunately did not get information because he was upset & attending to his bleeding wounds. He may not be continuing his daily afternoon walks because he sees many unleashed dogs there & has been traumatized. Can the park supervisors please step up patrols...
