Quaint, tucked away neighborhood park with a playground for toddlers and school-age children. It includes swings, a slide, climbing set and a grass play area. This is a small space with big views overlooking Puget Sound and the mountains. The park is good for quiet family time. There's no beach access though but definitely visit to experience the awesome sunsets and passing trains. Parking is easy but very limited. The onsite bathrooms are clean and kept. If you're unable to park and enjoy this space, drive to Richmond Beach Saltwater Park down the road. You'll find parking, beach access and similar views of Puget Sound. There's even a playground in the middle of the parking lot. Note, this space involves a little walking but it's pleasant....

There are total 5 parking spaces, one is for handicapped folks. The one all-gender restroom is handicap accessible with stainless-steel prison-type fixtures and flushing toilet. The sink works and there is a water fountain outside. There are three picnic tables and two benches to sit at. The small grassy field is a nice place for a blanket and a picnic. The oak trees are large enough to hook up a hammock or slack-line. It is dog friendly but you won't get much of a walk in because it is a small park....
Read moreSmall park - great for smaller kids. Mine love the bunnies that come out during dusk. Picnic tables and grass to sit in. Quiet place to hang your hammock and enjoy the quiet. You can watch the trains go by and enjoy the views. Restrooms with running water and drinking fountain which has been turned off during Covid. Limited parking.
I wish Shoreline Parks and BNSF would take care of the trail that has been carved out which leads to the train tracks. You can often smell the weed. Scary to see teenagers walking in the tracks - those commuters come...
