I've lived here most of my life and every time I come here I appreciate its beauty. There's always parking available, with three different lots to choose from. The top lot is the smallest, providing an excellent view of the entire park, beach, and sunset. Winding down the road a bit farther, you'll find the middle lot on the left, which is divided into two parts. The first lot is small, and if you continue to the second lot, it's small as well, but has a grassy area with a lookout amidst a partial covering making for a stunning sunset photo opportunity. Continue down the hill you will come to the last, lower lot which is huge and is closest to accessing the actual beach. There is a long set of cement steps as well, that start at the very top entrance to the beach, over 200 steps. These stairs go all the way down to the far end of the lowest parking lot, making it easy for pedestrians to get down quickly and are popular amongst the locals for daily exercise. When there is a beautiful sunset here, you can expect the place to be buzzing with people. But always a fabulous, and peaceful destination for any occasion.

Nice quiet park with great views of the water. Has a paved loop around and tennis courts across the street. Many benches and tables spread out that are perfect for picnics. Has a nice smaller play structure and larger play structures. Street parking available or can park at the library. Has one porta-potty a little far from the playground.

We went to the Shoreline Strawberry Festival, good food, great music (!) Lots of entertainment for the kids. Lots of freebies too!

This is a great little local park....a good place for kids to run and play; and the King County Richmond Beach library sits in the corner of the park. The kid's play equipment will be upgraded by the city parks dept. in the next couple of years. But I have it on good authority (from a three year old) that the play equipment is just fine as it is now! This park is worth a visit, and stop by the library (as soon as Covid permits) for some books to read when...

The playground is awesome lots of space, it has a toddlers area and an area for older kids, the views of the ocean are just beautiful, we loved going there my toddler and I flr the storytime under the tree last Thursday, I think the library is offering this fun dual language story times and singing along Thursdays under the big tree, bring a quilt or a blanket, sunscreen and some snacks you...
