The Meadows Museum is tucked into the campus of Centenary College of Louisiana. Though it is small, it is well-curated and seems to have found its niche among larger museums around the south. I visited the Awkward Family Photos exhibit and enjoyed a laugh-out-loud experience! While there I also took in a moving photographic exhibit featuring creole architecture in Haiti. The Meadows has a number of rotating exhibits showing throughout the academic year and is closed in the summer. If you are visiting the Centenary campus or Shreveport in general, I highly recommend you stop by and see what's showing!
