Dean park is the main park of SHREWSBURY town. I love going here for my walk any time of the day as it is near to where I stay. There is the main pond with so many geese whom you can see throughout the year. They claim there is a fountain but I haven’t seen it working in the last two years that is very disappointing. Trail / walking 🚶♀️- yes you can go round the pond and it is very relaxing. The only downside I see that parts of the park road is narrow and is shared by car and Walkers. This makes us remain always cautious while walking with kids. Kids play ground is ok. Tennis 🎾 play ground, basket ball court , volleyball court, baseball ⚾️ ground is busy as per the season. You have enough benches and picnic 🧺 area where you can relax and slow down a bit in our busy life. The long trees 🌳 thought out the park, quickly help you in that. The park is well maintained and have three separate parking areas...

Since the changes done this year, the playground has been a huge hit. The swing sets are separated for older children/adults and babies. There are two playsets; the first for older children and second for younger. There is a sandbox in the back with lots of toys. My toddler loves this park. Even at night, there be lots of people. Will definitely return. Additionally, there are tennis courts you can reserve and a basketball ball court. If you walk further out from this location, there are baseball fields, walking trails, and a lake where you can sit to enjoy the scenery. Definitely never boring

Dean Park was where it began, a quick walk everyday, without fail, no matter the weather. Noticing the park's seasons, the different feeling one gets in summer versus winter, was an early sign of our book. Because every day, every walk, the park changed. Dean Park is a beautiful, calm, cherished place in Shrewsbury, that simply must be visited. From bands, to athletic events, to daily walkers, this park has it all. Try your hand at forest bathing, the practice of listening to nature. The light show is worth checking out, as well .

Dean Park is probably the best gift for the Shrewsbury residents. The lake is beautiful and the ducks at play are very appealing to the kids. If you like summertime fishing a must place to visit. The play area is always bustling with the noise of the lilliputians. The play areas include tennis court, basketball court, soccer field baseball ground etc. The nature trail is very pleasant. There are couple of well maintained restrooms. Thanks to the authorities and visitors for keeping his place well maintained.

Beautiful place nice lake nice trails lots of plants a brook accessible to anyone good place to play sports basketball football etc overall Great Park only problem was the water was toxic there were signs to not touch the water it was not safe for people but there were ducks and geese in the water so what toxins I'm not sure you'd have to call the town to ask

Beautiful area with easy walking trail around the pond. Large fenced-in playground with many different age appropriate climbers and sandbox. There's basketball courts and baseball fields and such as well.
