The AZ Folklore Preserve is one of those hidden nuggets in our local area. They offer live entertainment some 44 weeks out of the year (closed in July and August). Every Saturday and Sunday, at 2:00, they bring the best talent from around the country to perform. Whenever I have guests, I take them to the Preserve where they will experience some top-notch entertainment in a marvelous setting. The building seats around 75 and you are in a home setting with your entertainer(s). It is a family show and you can take the kids. Aside from the quality of the music and the intimacy of the room, what we especially appreciated was that the audience was fully attentive and respectful. NOBODY TALKED.
