There's a great view of the historical buildings and surrounding mountains. If you have the opportunity to see a ceremony with the calvary charge in it, I definitely recommend it! You get a a little taste of History. There are not many structures on this area; just a gazebo is there year-round to shelter you from the weather. It can certainly be very hot when it's sunny, and very cold when the weather turns. Many think since it's Arizona it must be hot all the time, but since it's had such a high elevation and stays quite a bit cooler than other areas...
