Signal Point has a beautiful view that is very close to the on site parking lot. From there, you can enjoy the view from the viewpoint or make use of the covered picnic area. The picnic area is small, so there's a good chance it'll fill up quick. They do have restrooms on site as well. This connects to several trailheads which can lead all the way to Mushroom Rock. While it isn't a loop trail, you can hike a few miles to the other parking lot, then "hike" the road back which takes about 7 minutes. The view from Signal Point is different than the views you'll find on Lookout Mountain as these have less building and homes obstructing the mountain views. Totally...

I really enjoyed this walk—great views and a peaceful atmosphere. The trail to Julia Falls Overlook was a bit sketchy in parts, especially where the wooden stairs could use some maintenance. That said, it’s still very doable if you’re careful.

Just a heads-up: Julia Falls Overlook doesn’t really overlook the falls unless you squint—they’re quite far away. But honestly, the view itself is the real highlight, and it’s worth the walk regardless.

My star ranking system: 1: Bad / Don't go there 2: Could be better 3: Average 4: Above average but not the best 5: A true...

This park has amazing views! if you are a good hiker and your knees are in good shape, then you will also love the trails! The are on very rugged terrain but again, what a special place walking along the sides of this dramatic mountain. At one point I could see a ten story tall waterfall on the other side of the gorge and was told that if you keep going on the tail (6+ miles) you eventually end up right next to the very same waterfall! I'd love to see that but for me, I walked as far as I could before having to turn around. It's a hard, rugged trail but it's amazingly beautiful...

I'm not entirely sure how this got so many stars but I think it's because the view is absolutely exceptional. I would give that a 5. However, I would not give the trails a high rating at all because they are quite treacherous.. I brought my family of mixed ages along and going down the trail was absolutely unacceptable. The bridges have exposed nails. They also are completely rickety and falling apart. They really need to have a crew come out and redo Some of these areas to make them safer. That being said it is gorgeous views and I would recommend stopping by just at the overlook.

You can park at Signal point and enjoy the view first! And then the trail starts from there going down on very steep staircases for few minutes and there is the second lookout, Julia Falls overlook, coming after 5 min. From there Edward's point is also visible on the opposite side. And then you are on the way to Rainbow fall which has no accessing to the base of it. Stay on the trail to Edward's point. This trail, however, has not been maintained well, blocked with fallen trees.

Amazing hike and gorgeous water fall. The path is minimally cared for so there is a bunch of debris and some washed out areas that make it a little more challenging for those without proper hiking shoes or limited abilities. The stairs at the beginning are the worst part because of the large gaps and varying step lengths. It was all so worth it for our little family of two humans and a dog. There were TONS of mushrooms, they all looked super toxic, beware for dogs.
