You HAVE to stop here if you’re traveling anywhere near Silver Cliff. The museum itself is small, but has so many treasures that highlight mining, ranching and boomtown life. So many stories. And if you’re lucky, Scotty will be there to show you around. He is a fifth generation and had so many stories of his grandma and mom growing up in and living in Silver Cliff. His great grandfather owned the Defender Mine which is a 10 min drive away and definitely worth seeing. Highly, highly recommend.
