This is a really good, fun course that plays more challenging than it looks from photos and afar and as many have noted can be harder to find some errant throws due to one sagebrush plant looking just like the last hundred. Most holes are fine though. Pick distant object to help you. Still, brighter color discs (neon yellow, bright orange, neon green), not red, dull green, pale blue, mustard, or black, will help. The altitude makes it harder to get your discs to do high speed turns and decreases distance except on #8. That hole has a far basket 705' par 3 per Udisc! The setup creatively uses the terrain and vegetation to keep you stimulated. One late hole (#14?) has 2 baskets in view...it's the shorter one. This course is more little kid/dog friendly than A Basin's. A combo with 18 main holes, 12 family course, and 20 at A Basin makes for a really fun day out.
There is an archery range near the parking area and a cemetery too. Hikers like the area,...
Read moreWhat a treat! Lovely hike of a course about medium difficulty hike. From the parking lot head up the mountain, not to the right like I did, ended up at the motocross course. Warning, the winds whip up quite hard out here so you really have to battle it, the higher your disc the stronger the wind. I had one instance where my midrange was thrown 300 feet off course nearly hitting a basket I had played 2 holes prior. The view was wonderful, I wish my phone hadn't been dead. If you're out around Breckenridge pay this a visit. Just wait for hole 8 🤘. I gave it a 4 out of 5 because of how easy it is to lose a...
Read moreBeing honest I usually don’t throw disc and walk around with my husband and three kids. The littlest being almost 4. We didn’t quite complete the longer course, but the holes we did finish were beautiful. There are two very clean port-a potties super close. Also, people are not lying about the 10 minute walk to the first hole. That was the most difficult part for our 4 year old. Just be prepared for a trek. Definitely check out this place! It’s well worth the hike for the...
