Great paddle boarding spot. Benches you can sit to view the scenery, which also has an excellent view of the mountains. Only down side is it’s very open, no shade.

It's usually a good spot to go fishing with the family on holiday weekends. It has great scenery and it relaxing. On our last visit for Labor day weekend it was over crowded by people on stand up paddle boards. I had one person just run over my fishing lines. It's not the visitors fault. the whole lake is overwhelmed with stand up paddle boards that it has pushed most people going just to fish out of the area unless you have a boat. I will just avoid going fishing on a holiday weekend or find another...

The inlet is fine...I was trapped in a morning traffic jam trying to get to Arapahoe Basin ski resort...the jam was seven miles long at that point!!! I turned around...and never made it to Arapahoe Basin ski resort...they need...
