This is an absolutely beautiful place, except where fishermen are selfishly littering it up. We saw so many beautiful creatures: massive butterflies, chipmunks, birds of prey, mice, dozens of salamanders, honey bees, etc. It was such a shame though that we saw them alongside so much trash that could harm or kill them. When we went fishing here, we first spent our time filling up 4 trash bags of partially filled beverages, cigarette butts/cartons, empty power bait containers, and SO MANY wads of fishing line left behind... and this was just in the one small section of the shoreline we sat to fish. If you come to this beautiful location to take fish from the water, do everyone a favor and pack out your trash!

A beautiful place to visit especially if you want to take a dip and cool off or go kayaking and explore a bit. Update: still an amazing place to visit. It's become a little bit busier than we remember. People are now laying out on the docks where the boats are supposed to launch and smoking where they're not supposed to, but it still remains a great place to enjoy being outside.

Fun and fairly easy spot for kayaking. Parking lot is small and busy (cost is just a couple bucks payable via credit card only at the kiosk near the entrance), try to avoid summer weekends if you can. Nice people, lots of kids (swimming in the launch, unfortunately) and dog friendly!

This was our first time here and it was pretty busy. Use fee is only $2 and paid by card only. Which is pretty reasonable. Make sure you pay the fee they checked atleast twice for the paid tickets. Parking is a bit limited, which is a downside. There are no motor boats allowed which made this great for kayaking, paddle boarding and swimming. There were a lot of people swimming and playing in the boat ramp between the two docks which made it a bit difficult to launch all our kayaks and such. There isn't a real beach type area to hang out on which means people are clumped ontop of each other. A bit down the lake is a rope swing into the lake which was pretty popular. Will definitely be...

As a matter of fact it's one of my favorite places to go with out felling like I don't belong. I started swimming there in 1973 and it will always be my land I go to if I'd want or need anything what I need now is land and funds to build a home with out those basic needs I might as well be a terrorist hell bent on truth at every concern if it's not correct then it is wrong if it is wrong and not the truth who published it and for what reasons? 1968 brooks oregon party of the first part edward a spirit of 76 a god 1287 Hercules I cut in some trail safety coded it as necessary exit path in nature do not build obstructions it will harm us as a...
