A very busy lake with great views of Black Butte.
I started the hike around the lake at the day use area and went counterclockwise.
This side of the lake offers the views of Black Butte and Three Finger Jack.
I encountered a number of bike riders on the trail.
A number of campgrounds and boat launches surround the lake, which makes the water and trail very busy with people.

We cannot wait to be able to reserve a cabin or a room at the lodge once covid is not so omnipresent. The lake is quite pretty and the resort is so reminiscent of summer camp. You can still order food down by the boat rentals an inside the beer wine and sundries choices are great ! They have a full menu (burgers and the like) they also make fresh squeezed citrus cocktails. The lake is very windy or the tendency to be windy. Limited beach space from what we saw in sure there is more near the camp grounds. Great for big kids...
