The Food Truck Fest in Slidell at may just be the best event I have ever been to at the Harbor Center, and I been to quite a bunch. I thought our children's graduation there was good, but there wasn't like any refreshments booths. My favorite was The USMC Band / Toy's For Tots Christmas Concert. After today, at the Food Truck Fest, that was by far more fun. There were so many different types of food being sold off the trucks and everything looked and smelled incredible. It was not easy to choose, and the portions were so plentiful there was no way you were going to try everything. That would be cool though if they all sold quarter and half portions so that we could try plenty. Anyway, I doubt there was a bad choice to be made. Several different specialty burgers as well as specialty hot dogs, seafood, barbecue, Filipino food, and desserts, snowballs, fresh lemonade and coffee drinks. And, there were 2 cash bar trucks. Though I thought people were nuts to pay $17 for a high ball. There were several unique buys with many food booths set up inside mixed into the craft booths. All this surrounded tables and chairs to sit and eat, and to enjoy a really great band, Bayou Stampede. And bonus....the air conditioner works well. THANK GOD! There was dancing, several other booths I did not visit, plenty of free parking and it was fre entry. If you didn't make it, put it on your calendar right now...

The Harbor Center is an exceptional venue that stands out not only for its remarkable facilities but also for its dedicated and supportive staff. The assistance provided by the team was invaluable, contributing significantly to the success of our show.

The venue itself is truly outstanding, offering an ideal setting for any event. The staff's dedication and hard work are evident in every interaction, making the experience of working with them an absolute joy.

Special recognition must be given to the team members who went above and beyond in their roles. Their dedication and hard work have greatly contributed to the success of our event, and their efforts have truly made a difference.

The Harbor Center is more than just a venue - it's a place where professionalism, dedication, and exceptional service come together to create an unforgettable experience.

In conclusion, The Harbor Center is a top-tier venue that we highly recommend. It's not just the place that makes it exceptional, but the people behind it. Their unwavering support and dedication are what truly...

The Harbor Center is okay, and lacks space for venues. Apparently the original Harbor Center before Katrina was supposed to have a theater and additional buildings, but that never was completed. Our last trip there had a very pricy and limited food vendor, from which I was told had strict contracts with any shows operating out of there. In short, the center REALLY needs to expand and also have a better means to advertise their shows other than that tiny VERY out of the way light up display by...
