Visited here on August 14, 2025 and had a wonderful time! Took out of state family here as a first timer and wow what an amazing experience! Bailey’s Farm had two sites to visit, the vegetable area and then the fruit area. We visited both and had such a memorable experience. The fruit location has peaches that were ready to pick and eat. They offered cardboard boxes for you to take with you and pay for the peaches by the pound at the end. We also saw the beautiful (and almost ready to be picked) apple trees which was a great.
The vegetable location was also a family fun experience as they had many vegetables that you could pick and pay at the end. They offered different tools like wheelbarrows/wagons, buckets, and compostable bags to use as you pick your vegetables. There was a wide variety of vegetables such as sweet corn, beets, peas, onions, cilantro, cucumbers, zucchini, potatoes and more. They also offered wild flowers that you could pick and purchase. If you weren’t as adventurous in picking your own vegetables, they also offered pre-picked vegetables to choose from near the pay station.
The staff were super friendly and welcoming and helped explain how the u-pick process worked. They had plenty of parking in both locations.
Would highly recommend this as a fun place to bring family/friends or if you’re local to the area, this is a great place to pick and purchase locally grown food. Bring gardening gloves if you do decided to make the trip out although it’s...
Read moreIf you're looking for a weekend outing with the kids to pick pumpkins or such, this is probably a great option. Lots of amenities including porta-potties. A very "city-kid" friendly outing.
If you're more of a serious U-Pick person, maybe not so much, especially for apples. We called ahead to confirm availability of Jonagolds, then drove out to find they had only three types of apples apparent: Cosmic Crisp, Honey Crisp and Jonaprince (which I've never heard of, but didn't look like Jonagolds.) The only way to ask someone was to walk inside a crowded barn with kids everywhere (a weekend in October is likely not the time to go.) The apples were also $3.50/lb, which is more than my local farm stand (which is where we headed afterwards, picking up 24# of Jonagolds for $29.)
Probably a very nice outing with the kids, and $3.50/lb is a good price if you just want a few apples to round out a visit to the farm, but it's a pretty staggering price for u-pick.
Three stars because I don't think this farm is catering to "stock up" u-pick folks, and that's valid, but it was definitely a shock to me. If you want the family experience more than you want produce, probably a pretty...
Read moreThe Bailey Farm We found this farm a couple of years ago and have loved returning each year. They have excellent produce. Pumpkins, squash and we love their apples the best. This year I came up a little too early, as the pumpkin and apple picking were not open yet. I made the trip mainly to buy corn stocks for a decorating project I was creating at the West Seattle Trader Joe’s I work at. The young lady attending said they didn’t have any corn stocks cut but would call her boss. He allowed me to cut a dozen corn stocks for my project. Thank you so much, it looks amazing. These people are great. I just noticed that they have a berry picking fields across from the apple orchard. Will definably be making a trip up next year to pick berries. If you want to have a really great day out having fun, the Bailey Farm is a perfect destination. Family fun for all. Darrell...
