Nice quiet spot. Not kids friendly. They asked us to "supervise" and keep them in 2 square feet spot since place is very small. Kids were not allowed to go left or right because owners planted grass seeds. There is nothing to do for kids except sitting and watching movies ... so we took a bottle of wine we ordered and left. Now about wine - we were not needed to go and taste all products since this is not our first time in winery and we know exactly what we want. For Cabernet Franc we ordered - Starting with the aroma, the wine had a pleasant but unremarkable scent. It lacked the complexity and depth that I usually associate with high-quality wines. While it didn't have any off-putting or unpleasant notes, it also didn't have the captivating aromas that make a wine truly memorable. Moving on to the taste, the Cabernet Franc wine offered a decent, albeit uninspiring, flavor profile. It had hints of red fruits and spices, but they were not as pronounced as I had hoped. The wine lacked the depth and complexity that can make a wine truly enjoyable. It felt somewhat one-dimensional and failed to excite my taste buds. Not sure about all award winnings. Maybe somewhere they do have this wine but definitely not the one that was server to us. Wine way...
Read moreChateau NoElle is by far the best vineyard / winery experience I’ve had yet in the Cascadia region. Truly a gem of a find with a wonderful selection of award-winning wines. The grounds are spectacular with sweeping views of the mountains, tucked away in the woods. We were a group of 7 and called ahead to ensure we could get a spot for tastings (highly recommended as there is limited seating, selective hours of operation, and a powerhouse team of 2 running the whole show!). We will most certainly be back for private tastings / dinner pairing events and to show out-of-town visitors the true enchantment of Washington. We made a pit stop at the falls and historic town center of Snoqualmie before heading back to Seattle, but the vineyard truly won the show. Many thanks to Tom and Lorrie for opening their beautiful home for...
Read moreFantastic experience! We visited Seattle from NYC and visited Chateau NoElle after a trip to Snoqualmie Falls. The vineyard is beautiful, the wine is delicious and the hosts, Lorrie and Tom, provided top notch service! Especially enjoyed the estate Pinot Noir from their vines.
If coming from Snoqualmie Falls, google maps has a glitch and will take you to a blocked off private road. A note we received from the vineyard:
If you are using google maps to find us and are traveling from Snoqualmie, the Falls or the Ridge & are going south on Snoqualmie Parkway you are going to turn left or east on SE 96th Street (not Douglas).
We enjoyed the wine and experience and bought a couple bottles....
