Best experience ever!! This is literally the “Disney World of Ski” (I’m from FL lol) I had an amazing experience that I will remember for years to come! I was a never/ever beginner and visited Aspen for the first time last week. I was amazed with the atmosphere, environment, scenery, people, and staff! The staff made us feel very welcomed, encouraged lessons and pointed me to the right direction. (This was in Snowmass Mall) I immediately got my lesson and rentals (I had to leave my Bf Behind cause he knew what he was doing) and I was guided to my lift and mountain for training!

Our instructor was ED and I now wish I would have taken a picture with him! (I was scared to ask) But he truly made the experience an experience! He puts the MASS is Snowmass! Lol. Their structure and pace is on point! I have only great amazing things to say and boast about; including but not limited to the instructor, Snowmass staff and Colorado itself! It truly felt like I was dreaming the entire time and starring at a Hallmark card... I didn’t want it to end!

I would do it all over again! It was a great time to go as well, it was very slow paced and it turned into a 1:1 lesson as they were very slow that day.

Pricing could be better but I guess that comes with the geographic area? Lol....

What a great time! It was our first time ever to the mountains and the area is stunning! Talk about a crazy feeling, looking down the hills when it's basically your first time on a snowboard in your early 50's. I was never on skis or a board except for five hours on a snowboard the weekend before. Survived the days on the mountain in one piece and learned a bunch about boarding. You're never too old to learn something new. Its all in the outlook and mindset.

I will say many of the RED coat Snowmass workers (instructors) seemed to be VERY full of themselves and many had pathetic attitudes walking around acting and talking like they were the top dogs and practically owned the place. Several in our group commented about the attitude of the RED coat employees. Everyone else, Blue and Black coat as well as lodge/restaurant workers, were very nice, friendly, and offered assistance and guidance when asked.

We will likely return another year for...

This was my favorite ski resort out of the four I’ve been to in Colorado (Vail, Breck, Steamboat, Snowmass). I went in mid-March. They got several inches of powder while I was there. It is expansive and the runs are longer than those at other resorts. The runs are wide. It wasn’t crowded any day we were there (Sun-Tues). The lift lines were very short when there was any at all. The people who work here are all very fun and welcoming. Parking is very convenient, with a pay ramp that takes you right to the base area. To top it all off, there is the best place on the mountain for lunch, “Up 4 Pizza”. They serve fresh hot chocolate chip cookies and fresh baked pizza, as well as a few other items like soup. The prices are comparable to other resorts, about $14 for a slice of pizza and a delicious cookie. I will definitely be returning to this...
