The Cabin — Restaurant in Snowmass Village

My husband and I went there for a nice lunch on a clear day, but a bit too cold for outdoor dining for us. We had a 12:45 reservation and came 30mins early and we were lucky they could get us in earlier.

The inside is warm and cozy(tight quarters) and has a few tables (10-15 tables). If you have 3 or more people in your party, choice of tables are good for the space. If you are 2, not so great, hence the loss of star. My husband and a were sat next to the door which made for a chilly lunch inside.

The wine and food selection were great. My husband is vegetarian so we ordered the Baked MouCo Camembert, soup du jour- creamed cauliflower, and the mushroom farroto. All were good. One thing that was extremely noticeable, is that every table we saw during our visit ordered multiple orders of the Lynn Britt Cabin Grass-Fed Burger. It looked amazing and definitely is the item to order when there.

DONT EVEN THINK OF GOING HERE! You are charged $50/per person if you don’t cancel 48 hours out regardless if you have Covid symptoms or not!! After my child came down with a fever after traveling from Florida we did the responsible thing and cancelled our lunch reservation the day before. Apparently it needs to be 48 hours or you are charged and they don’t budge on the cancellation fee which is ludicrous during a pandemic After years of supporting them, Shame on Lynn Britt for saying “we’re doing this because of Covid” which only works as long as you’re symptom free 48 hours out. Looking for rude service, hurry waitresses and no food? You are in for a treat, enjoy the wonderful first class American lousy restaurant. Want to make a reservation? The host (Ken) will keep you half an hour, and treat you poorly. Once you arrive on time for your lunch, after a cold morning in the mountain the weitress will hurry up you to make an order.
