The Henry Store - Stampede Hills LLC — Attraction in Soda Springs

We had a long tiring drive after our flight to our first night destination, The Henry Store. Best decision ever! We drove in and were greeted by the most beautiful picturesque scenery. Along with that came the sweetest people! Walt, Whitney, her husband (so sorry, I'm blanking on your name!) and children are just so so warm and hospitable. My children fell in love with their adorable dog, Lady, their goats, horses, chickens and bunnies! The museum/ store was a fascinating peek into 200 years of history. Walt and Whitney answered all our questions (with 5 children, there were quite a few!) with such patience and knowledge. The children also got lessons on badminton from these awesome people! We cannot recommend this amazing place enough! We really didn't want to leave! The Henry Store is definitely in our top 10 things we did...

If you love history and the old west, this is a must stop. You can feel and see it when you walk in. From The original stove to the mail room which still has letters from the past within it. The owners seem so knowledgeable about much of it as well, I only met the nice lady but the energy was awesome!

So many wonderful historic items to be found here and they are still finding items on the property! Beautiful historic General Store right off the Oregon Trail, this is a must visit spot. Serves coffee and assorted soft drinks, beer, wine. The ghost told all so many great stories about the history on this property...
