Ash's Garden Farm — Attraction in Solebury Township

On Saturday, May 6th my daughter and I visited Ash's Garden Farm at the Rice's Market. I approached a male worker there with a general question. He appeared to be the one running the market. Before I could even ask the question, and without warning, he yelled at the top of his lung to a worker. His shouting was directly into my left ear and was deafening. I covered my ear with my hand as I grimaced with the pain and moved away from him. When she wasn't available he then proceeded to continue yelling at the top of his voice for two other employees until he could locate someone to assist me. When he finally made contact with an available employee, he then said he was sorry but with the crowd and the trays moving around he "just had to shout". Seriously? My ears are still hurting a day later with his insensitivity. I had a general question to which he could have easily pointed me in the right direction. He was beyond disrespectful and hurtful to me as a paying customer, and publicly disrespectful in how he treats his fellow employees. If he is the manager, I suggest he take a refresher course in how to interact with his customers, how to treat his employees, and to invest in some walk-talkies to respectfully locate an available employee. I have been shopping here for about six years. I love there assortment and the staff are wonderful and will bend over backwards to help you. I give them 5 stars and that is before mentioning their great fees! I did not notice any increase costs from last year. I buy almost 100 flowers for all my pots and multi flower basket holders. I have 21 gardens that have flowers at different weeks until fall. Paradise is my flowers that bloom all summer coming...

Amazing selection of quality annuals, perennials, trees and shrubs. Also tastefully and thoughtfully designed seasonal planters, grave blankets and holiday decor. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and always willing to help. I have been shopping here for my design clients for years and this is my go to place. Also love that they’re open six days a week....
