I really hate to give such a nice winery a lower review but service means a lot which I had some trouble with. I also wish that the indoor section was a larger. It was raining when we went there and felt very snug inside with everyone standing around. I loved the white wines, my girlfriend and I both got flights of different white wines. The 2016 Chardonnay is the best I’ve had so far and we even bought a bottle.

Everything else seemed to fall short, after we were served our flights we wanted to order a snack so we tried but some groups came in & it got busy. The server said we will have to wait because the limited staff couldn’t serve drinks and get the food made. We said sure, we didn’t mind waiting but I think he honestly forgot about it.

After that we finished our wine and continued waiting, we looked at the drink menu and decided we wanted to try some other wines. Nobody came back to check on us (even after it cleared out significantly) and it was supposed to be a special birthday night. We decided that we’d just get the ‘16 Chardonnay and head out. We really wanted to try more from this place but didn’t get the chance. I probably wouldn’t come back here for that reason but I will definitely consider ordering the...

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Unforgettable Experience — A Hidden Gem for Families & Pet Lovers!

Our family had an incredible time at Rove Vineyards! It was a spontaneous, last-minute stop — and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. Everything from the drinks and snacks to the warm, welcoming service and laid-back atmosphere was exceptional. The views from every spot on the patio are simply breathtaking.

We brought along our German Shepherd, Marx, who’s very much part of the family, and the staff couldn’t have been more accommodating. Their warm welcome went above and beyond our expectations. The pet-friendly patio is shaded, comfortable, and equipped with plenty of fresh water, making it the perfect spot to relax with your pup.

We’ll absolutely be returning during our next vacation, and we highly recommend a visit to Rove Vineyards — especially if you’re traveling with a furry friend. Thank you for the wonderful...

I was so excited to bring my parents and my great aunt here because it’s one of my favorite wineries. Through us all ordering, they mistaken my mom and aunts order, and over charged my aunt. When it was addressed, they were very rude. No one in our party was mad or upset, or ever rude and the manager came out saying “I heard you are unhappy over here.” We stared that in no way was anyone upset but explained what happened. And said it was no big deal. When we left, my mom and aunt each bought a bottle of wine and as my mom was waiting or the girl he was bagging it for her, the manager looked at my mom and in a very rude manner, said “can I help you?” I’ll never be back. No reason for all the rudeness. Not only were we not mad or rude, we also tipped. As someone who works in the service industry , do better. I’ll never be back. And I’ll never recommend...

The tasting room is not as big/grand as the other wineries we went to, but it’s a very newly-built farmhouse, with great patio and outdoor seating. It doesn’t have too much space but it’s definitely nice. The view is not as stunning as I expected. The downside is you can’t choose your wine for the flight. I like their Pinot Noir a lot because I like dryer wines. I think they make the Pinot Noir to my taste. Also they’re quite dog friendly, we went allowed to sit anywhere outside (yes that’s a privilege in Traverse City and all the cities within 300 miles). We went very early in the morning, and just as we were leaving there was another couple with a dog arriving. I guess they’re famous for being dog-friendly!
