My wife, daughter, grandson, and I went to this park that was a 2 1/2 hr drive away. We chose this park based on prices and what attractions it had (As many attractions as we can get for the cheapest possible price). Don't get me wrong, this is a small park with few attractions but its not meant to compete with theme parks or even bigger water parks. That being said it was perfect for us and I would think any family with small kids especially. My daughter is 10 and grandson is 2. There is multiple areas for my grandson which is unique because usually there's one area a kid his age can safely play at a lot of water parks. That was a big plus. But I also saw plenty of teens of all ages there having fun too. My daughter really really enjoyed it. Lines move very fast and its not overcrowded. By far the best thing about the park overall is that the owner or manager or whoever controls the pricing of everything there isn't a greedy wacko that wants crazy money for everything. Everything there is extremely fairly priced. My wife and I was pleasantly shocked at how reasonable everything was. We had a budget of about $200 and came back out of the park with a $100 bill. We got our tickets, a meal for four people (Bacon cheeseburger deluxe and fries, hot dog, hot dog and cheese fries, corn dog and fries, and 3 20oz cokes all for less than $25), two locker rentals, ice cream (2 dippin dots), and several Cokes (20oz bottle drinks and the largest fountain drink they offer, which is the size of a large drink at any fast food restaurant, was only $2.50 each) throughout the day. They don't try to make a fortune off of you and charge like most parks do. They have been really smart about the pricing and it makes going there much more enticing, because its so manageable, in my opinion. Overall, the only criticism I have is that you have to exit the park to get to a gazebo that is the only designated smoking area. I understand smoking is no longer the norm and most businesses cater to non-smokers but at the area where the exit is there is a large clear spot right inside the corner of that fence that the gazebo could be put in and it would still be virtually where it is now but you wouldn't have to leave the park. They let you back in and nobody gives you any hassle or anything like that, its just that when you leave the park to get to the gazebo you can't go back through that same entrance. You have to circle the whole building to come in the main entrance and it just seems unnecessary. Small complaint and maybe I'm just being a winer but thats the only thing that was a negative for us. Everyone was very friendly and its the most cost effective park i have ever been to. Thats why even in spite of it being a 2 1/2 hr drive we will be making the trip to revisit many times in the years...

The water park has a lot of fun things and for a fairly hefty price, although I understand that to a degree. However issues that I did have were mostly tied to the cleanliness of the water and other upkeep of the park. In the kids playground area, I had two MAJOR concerns. Like sue the park and shut them down kind of issues. There is so much rust on the children's playground that it is despicable. There is one fixture, in a walkway that used to have a large steering wheel style valve. That has rusted to the point that the wheel is no longer attached. Instead there is legitimately a rusted, and sharpened metal plate where the wheel broke off and not replaced or serviced. There is another section of the roof in the kids area that is broken from corrugated steel ceiling that is razor sharp and has the huge bucket dumping water onto it perpetually throughout the day. My family will not be back until this is addressed and I will make an active effort to advise parents of little ones the same. Got a second star because the slides still worked, the lazy river is still lazy and the lifeguards are nice. The park has been shut down from COVID-19 for a year, I would hope that someone would try remotely to upkeep it in that time. I hope this is seen and the problems get fixed, as my kids and family love coming here, just hard to justify with the glaring issues and the $18 per person...

We just moved to the area & were disappointed to find there are virtually ZERO dog parks, & we have two VERY active young fellas that NEED to RUN/soar ALLL day! Someone recommended that we try the property surrounding SomerSplash Park, & I'm SO glad we did! The park is closed because it's winter, but the gate remains open cuz there's a Skaters Park at one end....we were more enthralled by the vast open, natural space for our boys to run

The grounds are HUGE!! Some kind of grooming of walking trails is maintained so we can walk from hillsides down thru "draws" along the edge of woods, etc.

That being said, we have to either keep the boys on leashes or utilize shock/training collars because all that open space & smells are just TOO tempting. On 2 different occasions we've had one/both dogs become enthralled w/the scent or sight of wildlife (bird or deer) & take off!! Terrifying until we got them back alongside, but good training for US, too, to not allow them go more than ~30 ft from us without a beep/reminder to return & check in for rewards/praise for minding.

Gorgeous place that we all enjoy, & the kids love it so much they're minding better every time. Have never seen any other humans/dogs while there, & we are immensely grateful to have found it!!

Summer's a llllong way off, & we'll probably have moved away by then, but the waterpark looks...
