This place is awesome! Took the kids (older kids) for the day on a little adventure. Had a blast. The area isnt too big but definitely worth the trip. We hung out on the rocks by the water for a bit and had a little bbq by the car, collected some pretty cool rocks and went home. The water was kinda cold.... Snow water lol ( very refreshing) is was a quiet little waterfall and then down stream a bigger waterfall where you can jump off the rocks into the water. Its pretty deep. Maybe 20 feet or so... The only BAD things: 1- the bathroom is disgusting! HELLA FOUL!! There is no nice way to say it... There is one tiny outhouse style bathroom with pretty much a hole in the ground like a port a potty but not... No toilet... Smelled awful. Definitely not maintained. And there was a gang of bugs in there. Flies, spiders, and whatever other type of bug u can think of... If you plan on wearing a bathing suit. Change into it before you get there! Avoid the outhouse at all cost lol. 2- there is poison oak everywhere. So be careful. Dont touch any plants or go wondering off the dirt trails. 3- the currant is kinda strong, and there isnt really much of a sand or beach area for the kids to swim or play in. Only big rocks to sit on. (They do get really slippery tho) the shallow part of the water is on the other side of the bridge but the currant is fast so not for little ones either. But other than those things its a surprisingly awesome spot to stop by and enjoy the water for a little while. Its like a diamond in the middle of nowhere lol. If you do go here please remember to CLEAN UP AFTER YOURSELF! DONT BE A JERK AND LEAVE TRASH BEHIND IT ONLY RUINS A GORGEOUS LITTLE CUTTY...

This was by far one of the best places we have vacationed. We camped at a free campground on 4th of July weekend 2024 and got the best spot next to a creek and bridge. Down stream about 5 mins was actually a waterfall too! Can't remember the name of the campground though... Sorry. It was actually at what (I think looked like a Cult LMAO 🀣) JK kinda... but it was a family retreat off of the main highway about ten mins away from rainbow pool. Just look up free campgrounds and you will see it. Anyways, my 10 and 13 year old had an absolute blast!!! SO MUCH FUN, THAT EVEN YOSEMITE WAS πŸ₯± TO THEM. they just wanted to know when we would be back lol. Don't recommend going under the waterfall though. The under toe is pretty fierce. ( FYI information for parents with small children) NO JOKE!!. If my 220 pound HUSBAND felt he wasn't coming back up, I couldn't imagine how a child would react. Other than that, it was one of our best experiences/vacations yet!!!!! Boys wanna know when we will be back. Beautiful to the MAX, thrilling, lots of people ( if you're social) paid 10 bucks for parking.... WELL...
