This was our fifth year at SJFC. It's a good camp, run by the city of SJ. I'm not sure if the city of San Jose is the best organization to run a camp since they are basically running the actual city into the ground, but it's fun, it's right outside of Yosemite (my kids just call it "the woods" and there's a natural pool and river my kids love to play in. You sleep in tent cabins, breakfast lunch and dinner and all activities are included. There's a small store to buy ice cream, various SJFC swag (we always buy t-shirts to tye dye as our souvenir) and things like drinks, sunscreen, toiletries etc. Staff is friendly and always have a smile for us campers.
