Short one mile forest floor trail with nice views, eight different habitats and if you take a guided tour, interesting history of the preserve and area. You can see the confluence of the Salmon Falls and Coquecho Rivers, where fresh and salt water 💧 meet. The flora is coming out. Lots of skunk weed but no odor. Two picnic tables on trail. Small brook runs past the site of a former dam that was removed by members of the preserve's trust. Stroller but not wheelchair chair ♿ accessible on a few parts. "I am Groot" roots are thick on one part of the trail. A fallen tree you will have to duck under. Bug 🐛 repellent recommended because of ticks. I didn't find any on me. Can be muddy after a rain 🌧️. Caretaker's property resides at the preserve. Don't blink, you might miss the entrance. No 🐕 dogs allowed. I think 🤔 this includes pet 🐐 goats and 🐖 pigs.
