One of my favorite places to go. Just think... no filthy college kids come here to the point and litter all their alcohol and food garbage like they do all the rest of the way down North Myrtle Beach every year. This section of the beach is actually clean and has no litter and very friendly lifeguards, police and other people from the county when you see them on the beach. There are restrooms and an amazingly large public parking lot, that's 62nd avenue North, and there's parking on both sides of the road now. The only downfall is no shower at this location but there is one right on the other side of the hotel! And I always try to bring 2 gal of warm faucet water to rinse off with. ;) Thank you North Myrtle Beach and Horry county for the upkeep...

What a rude surprise to find that all the parking is so expensive. And that's on top of the really high taxes they charge to rent a room. Whoever runs North Myrtle Beach is pure greed. Having to pay for every little thing you do around here adds up fast, and it takes the fun out of a beach trip. If I'm going to pay resort fees, I'm going to go to an actual resort like Fripp Island where I don't have to deal with the crowds. Goodbye forever...
