What a great winery! We came here for a short day trip and I was blown away by the different wines available. Despite my rather sweet-favoring palate, the staff found multiple wines to satisfy that sweet tooth, as well as to expand my boundaries with not-so-sweet wines that I never knew I would enjoy! Read moreFantastic local spot. No frills, but just lovely. People bring blankets and camp chairs and settle in with a view of the vines—and the peacocks! On Saturday night there was a food truck and live music under the pavilion. Very peaceful, family atmosphere.
Cassel is a side gig for the owners, I heard, and they make and package their own cider, shown below. The Apple Pie is quite sweet and the Black Cherry is tart and crisp. As of mid 8/2020, they were out of the Citrus flavor.
