I had been searching for days (albeit a little late in the summer to find good plants) for the native Monarda (bee balm) Jacob Cline. I thought I had exhausted every nursery in South County when a very nice person at a local nursery recommended Blue Moon (which I had never heard of, but apparently many garden design professionals and local garden centers have!). Located on Saugatucket Rd in South Kingstown I discovered this lovely little (well really not that little) nursery filled with home grown mostly native gorgeous perennials. I found my beloved red bee balm and bought several pots of it but I think I may go back and buy more potted plants because they are so fresh, hardy, beautiful and colorful and just being at Blue Moon was not just peaceful and bucolic but also educational. The very nice owner, and her staff, were delighted to answer all of my many questions despite the fact that they were busy with customers and phone calls. Highly recommend. Buy local! Buy...
